    Description

    1960s Three-Horse Kid's Merry-Go-Round
Manufactured by the Miracle Equipment Company, Grinnell, Iowa
Restored by DDD Hot Rod Shop in Corpus Christi. Texas
This is really a "Kid's Themed" Parade Wagon or Float. It's a One-Of-A-Kind combo: A Small Carousel....on a Big Trailer. One that can accommodate a little group or a whole bunch of moms and dads and children.
On special occasions it's a full blown pick-your-holiday kind of wagon or parade float. Parked, its's the perfect venue for all kinds of kid's stuff. Parked somewhere in the "entertainment" part of your house, it would become the most talked about and remembered TOY of all-time.
This is the same carousel it was in the late 50s and early 60s. It cost a quarter to ride it then....what would a ride on it be worth today?
I don't see why you couldn't make a little money with this set-up. With a few quick add-ons....and maybe a nice vintage pick-up in front of it?... Who Knows?
    SPECS
THE WAGON:   An 18foot dual-axle car hauler chassis. The original data plate shows this to be a 12,500lb GVWR trailer....with brakes on both axles, it's capable of carrying (and stopping) a more than 10,000lb payload. It has FRESH PAINT and NEW WOOD. Tires are near-new, but have been on for several years, as I used it to haul my hot rods to various outings.
THE CAROUSEL:  Restored. Manufactured by the Miracle Equipment Company of Grinnell, Iowa, it's been restored to original with no modifications other than updated colors and the addition of a new sound system.
Since this unit was manufactured for commercial use, it has an attached "Coin Box". During the restoration I closed off the coin slot and used the locking box to access the ON/OFF switches and the controls for the sound system....an amplifier and an MP3 player (with 25 merry-go-round melodies on it). The Horses are refinished and  hand painted. The whole assembly has been tested and displayed, but no kids have been on it. It's ready for business!
Local Pick-up....all you need is your pick-up (with a hitch and a 2 5/8" ball).
