    Description

    1890 Albany pattern Towle Sterling Cream Sauce Gravy Ladle
    nice large gravy ladle with a shell bowl in the ALBANY pattern by Towle, introduced in 1890. The ladle is 7 1/4 inches long and weighs 46 grams.  The bowl has what looks to be a slight gold wash.   The ladle is marked "925/1000", with the Towle trademark and "STERLING".
    Condition on the ladle is good, there are  normal signs of use.  A nice serving piece!
