Antique Sterling Silver Cigatette Case Excellent Condition

The cigarette case offered in this auction looks virtually as did when issued about 100 years ago.
The design is very early deco with one very tiny nick which is difficult to see on the top
of the case. The case is better than excellent and weighs over 100 grams. The case is what
we would term: ‘mid size’. Strong enough for a man’s taste and elegant for a lady as well.
The case was made in Canada by Napier and is hallmarked Sterling on the back of the
spring loaded tong, which keeps your smokes in place. The spring works well on the tong
as does the case latch. The cartouche on the top of the case has been personalized with the
initials ‘H T Mc’. The initials could be removed by a jeweler and have your own name or any
thing could be added to your taste. The case is 4 inches in length by 3 inches wide. There
is also a small crease inside the case which does not protrude to the exterior of the case and
is described for accuracy. A beautiful case in every way.
