    Description

    This is a really stunning antique cigarette case. This case was sold by famous Japanese retailer (and silversmith) Kichigoro
    Uyeda (K. Uyeda). The particular artist mark on the back of the case reads "Masahide". This case is in lovely condition. The only issue I see is a small dent on the back in the middle right hand side. Closed, the case measures about 4" wide and 5 1/8" tall. The technical fineness here is actually 0.950 which is typical of Japanese silver pieces of this time frame. Overall, a beautiful little case featuring fine lines and stylistic engraving. This cigarette case weighs 194.4 grams.
