    Description

Are you curious about the world of mining, but just want to dip your toes in? Then this rig is the right one for you! It can accommodate up to 6 GPUs. Everything necessary to run the rig but the GPUs is included. This rig came out of a working environment. It has onboard graphics (no GPUs required), so you can operate it and set it up without any GPUs, i.e. you can use it as a normal desktop right out of the box.
The first thing to know about this rig is that, if all else fails, you can still use it as a milk crate :P
    Specs:
    Motherboard - Biostar TB-250 BTC
    RAM - 4GB (Crucial)
    CPU - Intel Celeron G3930 @ 2.9GHz
    2 SSDs - 128GB (Ubuntu); 32 GB (EthOS)
    2 PSUs (Thermaltake 600W, HP 800W - 1200W depending on voltage; 900W for 110V - 120V)
    6 PCIe Risers
This rig does not come with GPUs
    Problems:
    1) One of the power cables was shorted (see picture) - a great (and bit of a painful) learning experience for me, but I don't recommend following in my footsteps ;). There are more than enough functioning power cables to power 6 GPUs.
    2) The rig is sensitive to static shocks which make the rig shut off (and is bad for the rig), so try to avoid carpeted rooms, make sure that you're grounded before touching it, etc. This rig has shut off before because of this in the past, but I addressed the problems, cleaned it, and stress tested it on numerous occasions in the past few months with and without GPUs, and haven't had a problem since.
    3) The foam pads fell off the bottoms of the risers because of the heat - this is very typical of PCIe risers and doesn't affect anything at all, but I will be including the pads (only 5 of them, I don't know where the 6th went) in case you want to re-attach them to the bottoms.
    Accessories:
DVI to HDMI converter (see pictures), so you can easily hook up to a monitor with an HDMI cable
WiFi dongle (necessary if you can't/don't want to use Ethernet)
50 Zip ties (useful if you want to organize the cables and tie them down in a neat way)
I will pack the risers, SSDs, and other accessories separately to keep things neat for the shipping.
If you have any problems, I will accept returns for 30 days.
I will ship the day after the auction ends.
