    Description

Queen Anne AKA; Bearded Man, Neptune, Old Man, Old Man of the Woods, Santa Claus.) Round footed bowl/Compote. Manufactured by LaBelle Glass Company, Bridgeport, Ohio circa 1880. Designed by Andrew H. Boggs and patented under US patent No. 12006 November 2,1880. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece.
The round bowl has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Four-part mold. There is a little mold roughness on feet, and a fleabite or two in the extra glass. The impression from the mold is excellent and sharp. Color and clarity of the glass is excellent! The Flange is 6 1/2" ,
    Handle to handle 8 5/8” width across 7 1/2” height 4 1/2"”.
