    rare early vintage antique FIELD HOCKEY STICK circa 1920 trademark mfg'd. byThos. E. Wilson sporting goods, Chicago.
    Measures 35 inches (from tip of handle to flat side of club bottom, appears to be right handed adult sized model. From the early days, please see field hockey photos and postcards on Ebay to see lotsa illustrations of these style of sticks when this sport was very popular back around 1910 and 20's when there were many teams, to include women and college competitions. Popular in UK and English speaking countries, as an 85 year old friend living in Wales helped me identify specific era and sport (I had an antique shop and have dealt antiques for nearly 4 decades--never seen another, even at Brimfield markets) Exceedingly hard to find and unusual sports
    memorabilia.
